Citizens from ASEAN countries, except for Myanmar, can stay for up to one month without a visa. However, for durations exceeding one month, a visa is requisite, except for citizens of Brunei and Singapore. Commonwealth countries that require visas include Bangladesh, Cameroon, Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

It is advised to apply for and get your visa from the nearest Malaysian embassy in your country; on the other hand, one of the methods for visa application is using an online visa application using E-visa. It is encouraged to apply for a visa as early as possible as the processing time for a visa might take a long time.

Visitors are required to complete a Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)/ (IM.26) upon arrival at any gate of entry gazetted at the https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main

Visitors must present their passports with a complete MDAC to the Immigration Officer on duty and ensure that their passports or travel documents are validated with the appropriate pass before leaving the immigration counter.

Travel to Bangi

From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA or KLIA2):
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Services (Grab):

Available directly from the airport, it takes approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Bandar Baru Bangi.

Local Transportation:

Once in Bandar Baru Bangi, local taxis and ride-hailing services are convenient options for navigating the area.
Before traveling, it’s wise to check current transportation schedules and routes for any changes.

Daily Transportation from Hotel (Tenera and Bangi Resort Hotel Only) to the Venue at UKM:

Each morning at 07:15, two buses will arrive at the Bangi Resort and Tenera Hotels. Buses will depart for UKM at 07:30. Buses will return to take attendees back to their hotels when the meeting adjourns each day.
